Billing Policies

  • Credit cards on file will be automatically charged on the day of a scheduled session. E-transfers may also be accepted, with payment due at the end of the session.

  • If an emergency arises and a session needs to be missed, no cancellation fee will be charged as long as the rescheduled session is attended within the same calendar week.

  • Please note that when you book a session, that time is reserved for you. Late-notice cancellations, within the 24-hour window prior to a session, will be assessed a cancellation fee of $100. Missed appointments with no notice will be assessed the full session fee of your scheduled appointment. All fees will be directly charged to your credit card on file.

  • I offer direct billing to participating insurance, that cover counselling from Registered Psychologists (R. Psych)s. If applicable, the insurance can be directly billed at the end of each session, with the remaining balance paid by the credit card on file.

Telehealth Policies

  • Telehealth is a wonderful tool to make psychotherapy services accessible, from the emotional comfort and safety of your home. Creating security is a mutual agreement between clinician and client.

    In agreeing to telehealth services, the client agrees they will attend sessions individually and privately, with no one else present, unless we have a previous agreement stating otherwise.

  • You will need a secure & private bedroom or home office that you feel safe in, a laptop/computer (smartphones not included), preferably headphones, and a high-speed wifi/internet set-up.

    Sessions on your phone are not permitted due to the high likelihood of distractions and may result in the early termination of our session. This will be covered more in our informed consent debrief.
